Visitation and Services
Services will be at 1:30 PM Sunday at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro Sam and Sister Londa Choate officiating. His brother in law, Eddie West will deliver family reflections. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3PM-6PM today and from Noon-service time on Sunday all at the Tupelo Chapel.

James Noel “Jim” Hunt, 72, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at North Miss. Medical Center after a brief illness. Jim was born on April 20, 1940 in Winston County, Miss. To the late Howard Hunt and Eudice Burnham Hunt. He was a retired self employed farmer and dairyman. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time in God’s creation especially fishing. A member of the Lighthouse Fellowship in Tupelo, Jim loved listening to and singing gospel music. He enjoyed dealing in scrap iron, traveling and spending time with his dog, Peanut.
Survivors include his wife, Margie West Hunt of Tupelo, to whom he married in Lee Co. on August 2, l985; a daughter: Shirley Anne Vinson of Pontotoc, two sons: James Gerald Hunt and James Howard Ellis both of Tupelo. Two brothers: Howard Levon Hunt (Hilda) of Anniston, Ala. and Lamar Hunt (Linda of Quitman, Miss. 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
