Visitation and Services
A Service of Remembrance for Wesley Alan Sweeney will be held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday December 27, 2011 at Harvest Praise Church, Morganton, with Rev. Jeff Carpenter and Rev. Jason Garner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at Harvest Praise Church, Morganton.

Obituary
Mr. Wesley Alan Sweeney, 28, of Morganton, died Friday December 23, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Sweeney was born February 10, 1983 in Burke County, the son of Michael Sweeney and wife Julie of Marion and Jennie Curtis and husband Jeff of Morganton. Wesley was a devoted father and had a love for the outdoors, especially fishing. He was a former employee of Viscotec Automotive Products.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Glen Curtis, Willie Golds, great-grandparents, Grady and Edith Sweeney and an uncle Ronnie Golds.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife Noelle Martin and two sons, Gaven Sweeney and Landon Martin all of Morganton, three brothers, Keaton Sweeney, Kason Sweeney and Ethan Truett, two sisters, Brianna Sweeney and Kassidy Sweeney all of Marion. Also surviving are his grandparents, Beulah Golds, Mike and Lydia Sweeney, Ella Mae Curtis, Jerry Robinson and Abbie Rumfelt, his uncle and best friend, Jeff Sweeney, uncle Lennie Golds and his inlaws, Robbie and Debbie Martin .
