The family will receive friends at Aldridge Funeral Services Monday evening Nov. 29, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at other times the family residence 165 Holman Road Leslie, Ga.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 30, 2010 at Leslie City Cemetery in Leslie, Ga.

Mr. Harry Bowden age 59 of 165 Holman Road Leslie, Ga. passed away unexpectedly Saturday November 27, 2010 in the Aucilla River. Funeral services will be held from the Graveside Tuesday November 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Leslie City Cemetery in Leslie, Ga. with Rev. Joe Bateman and Dr. Frank Wilson IV officiating. Asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Frank Wilson IV, Tony Davis, Elton Sharp, Douglas Parrish, Sandy Kelley and JR Walker. Mr. Bowden was born October 7, 1951 in Newnan, Ga. the son of Henry Grady Bowden and the late Carolyn Aspinwall Bowden. He was retired from Proctor and Gamble Company in Albany, Ga. after 27 years of service and also 10 years with Tri-Wood Corporation as Purchasing Agent. He was a member of Leslie United Methodist Church and was well known as Uncle Harry to many children.
Mr. Bowden is survived by his beloved wife Debra W. Bowden of Leslie, Ga. his father Henry Grady Bowden of Pine Mountain, Ga. and step mother Mary Eunice Bowden also of Pine Mountain, Ga. a son Kris Bowden of Americus, three sisters and brothers-in-law; Peggy Bryant and Eddie of La Grange, Ga. Pam Branch and Joey of Warm Springs, Ga. and Pat Ledger of Columbus, Ga. a sister-in-law; Marsha Deriso of Leslie, Ga. a granddaughter T.J. Bowden of Americus, Ga. four nephews; Repp Ledger of Thomasville, Ga. Zack Ledger of Americus, Ga. Joseph Branch of Warm Springs, Ga. and Don Deriso of Americus, Ga. Also his beloved dog “Annie”
