Visitation and Services
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home, Hilltop Chapel with interment at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends may call at the Vail-Holt Funeral Homes, Hilltop Chapel from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 26, 2010 and after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of service.

Obituary
Harley L. Romans Sr., age 71 of Lexington, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 at his residence.
Born June 2, 1939 in Jefferson County, Indiana, he was the son of Howard and Kathryn (Copeland) Romans. He was preceded in death by his Parents; one Daughter, Betty Romans; one son, Joey Romans; one sister, Alleen Kern; one brother Roy Romans.
Mr. Romans owned an operated Harley Romans Logging Company for several years he also worked in construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Survivors include his daughter Peggy Howell and husband Rick of Owenton, KY; his son Harley Romans Jr. and wife Vickie of Blytheville, AK; two sisters Pauline Ferris of Greensburg, IN and Linda Sellers of Hanover, IN; three brothers Freddie, Harold and Howard Romans Jr. all of Brooksburg, IN; five granddaughters Renee Summers and her husband, Brandon, Heather Law and her husband David, Haley Romans, Tiffany Schatzman and her husband, Michael and Jessica Howell; five great-grandsons, Hayden Summers, Broderick “ Brody” Summers, Dakota Garriott, Michael Schatzman and Bradley Schatzman; and several nieces and nephews.

Preferred Charities and Donations
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Harley L. Romans Sr. Memorial Fund. Contribution cards will be available at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home.
