Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Vail-Holt Funeral Homes, Hanover Chapel.
Family and friends may call at the Vail-Holt Funeral Homes, Hanover Chapel from 12 noon Wednesday, July 21, 2010 until time of service.
Obituary
James Edward Freeman, age 60 of Hanover, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
Born September 18, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of William K. and Rosie Belle (Hyden) Freeman, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Ballard Freeman; his second wife, Mary Ann Freeman; two sisters, Bernice Harmon and Darlene Reed; nine brothers, William, Louie, David, Joseph, Ronnie, John, Stanley, Richard and Larry Freeman.
Mr. Freeman was a security guard in Louisville, Kentucky before retiring in 1985.
Survivors include three step-children, Beverly Lynn Williams of Pekin, IN, Teresa Williams of Louisville, KY and Timmy Ballard of Otisco, IN; two sisters, Mary R. Summers and Anna L. Freeman both of Hanover; two brothers, Charles Robert Freeman and Tony L. Freeman of Hanover and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the James Edward Freeman Memorial Fund. Contribution cards will be available at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home.
