Visitation and Services
Visitation with the family will be 11 am till 9 pm Sunday.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 10 am Monday with Bro. Herb Alsup and Bro. Thurman Seber officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherry Cemetery.
Obituary
Bobby Don Melton was born in Cannon Co. on May 10, 1949 and passed away on June 17, 2010 at the age of 61.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Irma Adams Melton of Woodbury; 4 children, William (Melissa) Melton of Franklin, Craig (Julie) Melton of Murfreesboro, Robert Melton, Jr. of Gordonsville and Lori Melton of Woodbury; 7 grandchildren, Rob, Dylan, Greyson, Addie, Noah, Grey & Sabrina; Sisters, Patsy (Billy) Reader of Watertown, Katherine (Dwight) Sadler of Prosperity Community and Deloris Morris of Auburntown; Sister-in-law, Rachel Melton of Auburntown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Gray Melton & Hilda Leoma Bell Melton and his brother, John Melton.
He was a member of the Prosperity Baptist Church and a supervisor at a garment mfg. corp. He also played & umpired sports in Cannon Co.
