Rev. Jon Carlstrom will conduct funeral services at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Vail-Holt Funeral Homes, Hilltop Chapel with interment in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends may call at the Vail-Holt Funeral Homes, Hilltop Chapel from 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 18, 2010 until time of service.
Obituary
Pauline J. (Farrell) Harrison Brandon, age 82 of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born January 30, 1928 in Moorefield, Indiana, she was the daughter of Alford and Helen (Stelle) Farrell, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Brandon in 1970; a daughter, Judy Ann Thornton in 2004 and a brother, Bud Farrell.
Mrs. Brandon worked at Meyers and Sons Manufacturing Company until she retired at the age of seventy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Just Us Circle of the King’s Daughters’, Rebekah Lodge and a graduate of Madison High School.
Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie L. Hopper and her husband, Gary of Madison; one son, Kenneth Harrison and his wife, Kathy of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Anna Marsh and Rita Sullivan both of Madison; one half-sister, Mary Beach of Aurora, IN; eleven grandchildren, Julie Davidson, Michael Hopper, Bonnie Lee McGaughey, Curtis Thornton, Lenora Aldrich, Christopher Harrison, Clinton Harrison, Teresa Jones, Sonia Blankenship, Paula Taylor and Harold Wayne Sowell; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preferred Charities and Donations
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the ParkinsonÆs Disease Foundation. Contribution cards will be available at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home.
